May Lee Davis passed away July 3, 2015 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Lockport on January 12, 1937 she was the daughter pf Charles and Elizabeth (Baty) Lee. May worked for both the Marriot and the Sheraton where she was in housekeeping. She enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the casino, strong in her faith, going on family rides and especially being with all her family. May was predeceased by her husband Roland Davis on April 2, 2000.
May is survived by her children Roland (Sharon) Davis, Jr., Charles (late Wanda) Davis, and Norma (late Johnny) Taylor all of Lockport; grandmother of thirteen, great grandmother of twenty-six and great-great grandmother of one; sister of the late Floyd Williams, Evetta Flores, Elizabeth Evans, James Lee, Robert Lee, and Irene Jenkins; also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, July 6th from 11 AM – 1 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where services will follow at 1 PM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
