Veronica O. Brady, of Lockport, NY passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015. She was born November 10, 1919, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Blackley) Foltz. She married Norman Brady on November 9, 1940 and they lived in Lockport their entire lives. Norman predeceased her on November 5, 2012. Veronica graduated from Lockport High School in 1938. She was a longtime member of All Saint's Parish, (St. Patrick's Church), and was involved in charitable organizations there, such as the Ladies of Charity and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and she volunteered for the Red Cross at local Blood Drives and worked for the Board of Elections on Election Days. She enjoyed going to yard sales and sharing her treasures with her family, listening to Blue Grass music and dressing up for Halloween in one of her many costumes. She loved a party and was always ready to celebrate. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Demidovich of North Tonawanda, and sons Timothy (Dorothy) of Nyack, NY and Damien (Mary Kay) of Lockport. She is also survived by her brother, Paul (Jean) Foltz of Lockport and her sister-in laws Hazel Calos of Lockport and Elsie Brady of North Tonawanda. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren; Nickolas Demidovich, III of Crystal City, VA, Catherine (Andrew) Bone of Setauket, NY, Peter Demidovich of Melville, NY, Natalie (Michael) Barnwell of Lockport, Patrick Sullivan of Ithaca, NY, Sean (Allison) Sullivan of Manomet, MA, Kelly (Joel) Janulewicz of Petaluma, CA, Ian (Amanda) Brady of San Diego, CA, Emily Brady of Nyack, NY, Damien B. (Jennifer Hooper) Brady of Buffalo, NY, Erin (Joshua Robb) Brady of Lockport, NY and Austin (Samantha) Brady of Delaware, OH. In addition, she had 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Veronica "Babe" Sullivan, son-in-law Nickolas Demidovich, her siblings and their spouses; Anna Louise (Walter) Shulock, Olga (Jack) Dodge, Charles (Joyce) Foltz, Ilene (Harold) Mosher, Georgene (Robert) Costello; her brother and sisters-in-law, Mary (Alec) Puff, James Brady, Ethel (Wilbur) Chambers, Anthony Calos and Margaret (Thomas) Gormley. Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where prayers will be offered Friday, May 22nd at 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in All Saints Parish, 76 Church Street, Lockport on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11:00AM.
